Cata-LOT-More

No one ever WANTS to deal with a water leak and water damage. BUT it MIGHT be a blessing in disguise. Specifically if you were dreaming of a kitchen renovation and then boom - water leak. While I don’t wish the inconvenience and stress of it all on anyone, its nice to know that at the end of it, you’ll have your dream kitchen indeed.

That’s how it went down for our friends over on Catamore.

Pro-serve (a remediation company that works with insurances) demoed the space and got most of it ready for us to come in.

Our clients had a flooring already picked out so we started there while we waited on the kitchen components to be ready.

AND THEN QUARANTINE. But thankfully, the shelter-in-place mandate allowed us to COMPLETE the jobs that had already begun. So we set to work finishing as quickly as we could.

We started with custom cabinets and built ins. A customization of Studio Blue Green for the cabinet colors and brass pulls. Mixed metals are IN. The stunning brass pendants from Target (seriously) were adapted to be installed as legit pendants. Our client’s design taste is phenomenal. She added these bar chairs from CB2 to the bar that adds the best warmth to this space. Their dream was to open up the wall as much as possible but still have usable bar space. Keeping the structural post was non-negotiable due to the way the ceiling was built on the space.

Now, it’s time for what you’ve been waiting for. Those pictures right? Once again, our guy Paul Go Images KILLED it.

LET ME TELL YOU. It is STUNNING. I mean, breathtakingly STUNNING. Beautiful.
