Lakewood Tudor Project: Part III
/Andddddd we’re back. I know. That was a long weekend. But, it’s Monday. Let’s go.
BUILD BACK TIME.
Remember those arches we put in. They look a LOT different with some sheetrock, texture, and paint!
Oh, you’d like to see an exterior picture? Well, sure! Here is an exterior with those arches, again from out friends at Archways and Ceilings. New black insulated windows! Look at all those roof tiles just waiting to be put on!
That pink and green primary bathroom was completely demolished - this is a new custom shower with a bench! Next time you see this view, it will be filled with Marble!
Remember the kitchen images in the last post? Prepare for a serious change. LIKE way different. But so good. ALL those cabinets with lots of places to store things that go in a kitchen. That seems like a weird thing to say Lauren. Yes. But there is a video of me out there saying “and here in the kitchen will be cabinets and counters… and things that go in a kitchen.” So you’re welcome. Put that on my epitaph.
The new back porch was stuccoed and painted. It also got a beautiful tongue + groove ceiling - which if you know me - know I LOVE. How beautiful do those new black windows and that French door look on this space?
Roof on (mostly). Windows in. Stucco painted.
A brand new mudroom which will be the perfect catch-all for this sweet family!
Kids bathroom got a major upgrade with this beautiful Riad Safi Blue tile. We’re big Riad fans over here!
Remember that primary bathroom I was talking about? Marble for days. This is from Floor and Decor, another of our favorite tile vendors. This is the Madison Dolomite Polished Marble Mosaic!
Let’s add some more Riad flooring! This one is the Crest Black! This is the perfect tile for a laundry room!
I cannot get over these arches and these bright views. All the natural light this beautiful home has makes the space so welcoming. It went from dark to bright so quickly!
This part of the project always feels like SO far away. It takes forever to get here and then there are still so many finish details left that the end seems distant.
Tomorrow is the big day friends. Its FULL project reveal day. I’m so excited to show you this beautiful welcoming home!
